Ashley McBryde<\/a> has been forced to cancel her upcoming shows this week due to vocal issues.<\/p>\n The GRAMMY-winning country star<\/a> took to social media on Monday afternoon (Aug. 11) to share the news with her fans.<\/p>\n \u201cMy voice has been struggling over the past few weeks, and as much as it pains me, I won\u2019t be able to play my shows this week,\u201d McBryde wrote on her Instagram Stories<\/a>.<\/p>\n The ACM-award winner continued, \u201cMy doctors have made it crystal clear: my voice needs complete rest to heal.\u201d<\/p>\n She also apologized to her fans and assured them she would be back on stage soon.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing I want more<\/a> than to be back giving you 100%. Thank you for understanding. I\u2019ll see you soon,\u201d McBryde added.<\/p>\n The cancellation follows McBryde\u2019s recent announcement that she\u2019s been on vocal rest.<\/p>\n In a social media video, the \u201cOne Night Standards\u201d singer humorously updated her followers<\/a> by holding up written signs while someone off-camera voiced her words.<\/p>\n \u201cHi guys. So\u2026I hurt my throat. So no talking if I want to be able to sing to you,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThis would be a good time to practice some ASL,\u201d she added, encouraging her fans to join in.<\/p>\n McBryde captioned the clip: \u201cTrybe, doc says I\u2019m working on busted-up vocal cords. The last thing I wanna do is cancel any meet and greets or Heaven forbid SHOWS.
