Young Thug<\/a> has taken a direct shot at Gunna<\/a> in a snippet from a yet to be released song.<\/p>\n At what appeared to be a listening event for Lil Baby\u2019s forthcoming album The Leak$<\/em>, Thugger uses his guest verse to fire at Gunna in his most blatant way since he was released from jail last year.<\/p>\n He raps: \u201cOnly reason I fucked with you, Gunna, it was \u2019cause of Troup,\u201d<\/em> referring to the late Keith B. However, Thug didn\u2019t provide a clear answer.<\/p>\n \u201cI know everybody wonders [what our relationship is like now],\u201d he noted, before saying: \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n The same day the interview was released (though it had been conducted weeks earlier),\u00a0Young Thug dropped the lead single<\/a>\u00a0from his upcoming album\u00a0Uy Scuti<\/em><\/a>\u00a0titled \u201cMoney On Money\u201d featuring\u00a0Future<\/a>.<\/p>\n While the track is a bombastic return to the Atlanta star\u2019s best, it\u2019s most notable for some lines that appear to be aimed at his former friend and his decision to take an Alford plea during YSL\u2019s long-running and controversial RICO trial.<\/p>\n On the song\u2019s hook, Thug raps:\u00a0\u201cThese fuck n-ggas tellin\u2019 for nothin\u2019, and I gotta be the one callin\u2019 \u2019em friends.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n He later spits:\u00a0\u201cBrother, you a rat (My brother).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Thugger also reiterated the accusation in a subsequent verse:\u00a0\u201cTwin, you a rat, you smoked, uh.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Gunna has always denied snitching on Young Thug but it is\u00a0not the first time his label boss has appeared to label him a rat<\/a>.<\/p>\n On a snippet of a track he posted on his Instagram, Thug could be heard rapping:\u00a0\u201cNever associate with a rat\/ Go and get some money, get a pack.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Gunna\u2019s former lawyer, Steve Sadow,\u00a0also denied that the rapper had cooperated with prosecutors in exchange for a plea<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
