The indie singer-songwriter was inspired by playing with a band for the first time and wrote those new songs with future live performances front of mind. Now, she will be able to play that new music as it was intended. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn Wednesday, McLamb announced a spring 2026 tour The <em>Good Story<\/em> tour where she\u2019ll perform her forthcoming album <em>Good Story<\/em>, which arrives October 24.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tKicking off in Cambridge, Massachusetts in March, McLamb will hit clubs in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago on the 27-date trek. It provides the context that every other song lives in,\u201d McLamb said in a statement. The track marks the musician\u2019s second single following the energy-packed \u201cLike the Boys.\u201d Earlier this year, McLamb also released standalone single \u201cQuitting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tProduced by Sarah Tudzin, worked on <em>Going Through It<\/em>, <em>Good Story<\/em> came to life when McLamb convened to Drop of Sun Studios in the indie-rock hot bed of Asheville, North Caroline. There, the singer-songwriter was joined by Tudzin, guitarist Jacob Blizard,\u00a0bassist Ryan Ficano, keyboardist Sarah Goldstone, and Death Cab For Cutie drummer Jason McGerr to help record the album. <em>Good Story<\/em> is steeped in themes of storytelling. \u201cThis whole record, it was like I was transient, flicking through the rolodex of my own memories and how they were organized and
