Fans have been speculating whether former Reba<\/em> star JoAnna Garcia Swisher might make an appearance on Reba McEntire<\/a>‘s new sitcom, Happy’s Place<\/em>, and in a new interview, she reveals whether she’s on board with it or not.<\/p>\n “No doubt,” the 46-year-old actor tells Parade<\/em><\/a> in an exclusive interview.<\/p>\n “If they were to ask me to do it, I would 100 percent be there and I would move mountains to do it.”<\/p>\n The performer\u00a0\u2014 who played Cheyenne on Reba<\/em> and currently stars as Maddie Townsend in Sweet Magnolias<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 adds, “Obviously they’re making a television show,” so any appearance she might make would have to “work for the story and all of those moments.”<\/p>\n Happy’s Place<\/em> is a sitcom that premiered in late 2024<\/a>. It stars Reba McEntire and her real-life boyfriend, Rex Linn.<\/p>\n Much of the same creative team behind Reba<\/em> is involved in Happy’s Place<\/em>.<\/p>\n In addition to McEntire and Linn, Happy’s Place<\/em> stars Melissa Peterman, who played Barbra Jean on Reba<\/em>.<\/p>\n Former Reba<\/em> stars Christopher Rich and Steve Howey have also made guest appearances on Happy’s Place<\/em>.<\/p>\n Yes. Happy’s Place<\/em> Season 2 is slated to premiere on NBC on Nov. 7.<\/p>\n Yes. Swisher has played\u00a0Maddie Townsend on Sweet Magnolias<\/em> since the show debuted in May of 2020.<\/p>\n Netflix has renewed the show for Season 5, and Swisher is expected to return in her starring role.<\/p>\n Yes, but it’s not clear how or when.<\/p>\n “We have tried to get Reba on,” Swisher tells Parade<\/em>.<\/p>\n “I always am trying to work with everyone from Reba<\/em> because I love them so much. But Happy’s Place<\/em> and The Voice<\/em><\/a> keeps her very busy,” she adds.<\/p>\n “It didn’t work out scheduling for last season [of Sweet Magnolias<\/em>].
