The superstar tapped the Swedish producers for her 12th studio album<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> is set to bring more glitter pen songs on The Life of a Showgirl<\/a>.<\/em> The superstar shared that Max Martin<\/a> and Shellback are back as the sole producers, along with Swift, for her 12th studio album. <\/p>\n

\n\tSwift revealed the news on Wednesday night during her episode of the New Heights<\/a><\/em> podcast. On the show, the singer called Martin her \u201cmentor\u201d before describing their work together. \u201cThe three of us have made some of my favorite songs that I\u2019ve ever done before,\u201d she said, referring to some of Swift\u2019s biggest hits such as \u201c22,\u201d \u201cShake It Off,\u201d and \u201cBlank Space.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019ve never actually made an album before where they\u2019re, where it\u2019s just the three of us,\u201d she continued, before confirming: \u201cThere\u2019s no other collaborators. It\u2019s just the three of us making a focused album.\u201d For Swift\u2019s last five albums, the musician teamed up with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, whom she also tapped for work on her Taylor\u2019s Version<\/em> re-recording project.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe musician shared that the production work for The Life of a Showgirl<\/em> occurred on The Eras Tour while she was in Sweden. \u201cWhen I was on tour in Stockholm, I had Max Martin come out to the show, and I was talking to him, and I was like, \u2018I just feel like we could knock it out of the park if we went back in.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tSwift\u2019s main focus of the album was how it connected to her career-spanning tour. \u201cI essentially said to him, \u2018I want to be as proud of it as an album as I am of The Eras Tour, and for the same reasons,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd he was like, \u2018Do you understand what kind of pressure that is?’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
