Lauren Alaina<\/a> is opening up about the frightening birth of her daughter, Beni Doll Arnold \u2014 a moment she calls one of the most emotional experiences of her life.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old country star says Beni\u2019s arrival was anything but routine.<\/p>\n In an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/em>, Alaina revealed that Beni was born<\/a> with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and legs, creating a dangerous scenario in which pushing could have dropped her heart rate to critical levels.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery time I pushed, her heart rate plummeted,\u201d the “Getting Good” singer shared. \u201cIt kind of became like an emergency scenario where we had to get her out. It was a very scary time.\u201d<\/p>\n The new mom still gets emotional remembering the first sound<\/a> she heard from her daughter.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen they handed her to me \u2014 oh man, it makes me wanna cry thinking about it. She will never know what a gift she\u2019s been for us.\u201d<\/p>\n For now, Alaina is enjoying precious time with her newborn before returning to the stage.<\/p>\n She\u2019s set to join Chris Lane<\/a> as an opener on Rascal Flatts<\/a>\u2019 2026 Life Is a Highway Tour<\/em>.<\/p>\n The trek begins Jan. 15 in Raleigh, N.C., and will hit 21 cities over seven weekends<\/a>, wrapping up Feb. 28 in Buffalo, N.Y.<\/p>\n The country music family is expanding in 2025.
