It\u2019s a collection of covers by a diverse range of songwriters, including Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley, Blind Willie Johnston, the Low Anthem, and Martha Scanlan.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Robert Plant - Gospel Plough (Official Audio)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jeMQsF5HiCs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThey\u2019ve already shared their take on Low\u2019s \u201cEverybody\u2019s Song,\u201d and now they\u2019ve dropped their rendition of the early 20th century African American spiritual \u201cGospel Plough.\u201d Over the years, it\u2019s been covered by everyone from Duke Ellington and Bob Dylan to Old Cow Medicine Show and Charlie Parr.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe group \u2013 which includes drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, cellist Barney Morse-Brown, and vocalist Suzi Dian \u2013 originally came together in early 2019 when Plant had downtime between projects, and felt like playing a series of under-the-radar theater shows across England. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI just liked the idea of getting out and playing these tiny weenie little shows, and just showing up with no expectations, nothing at all,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/robert-plant-album-tour-saving-grace-1235385216\/\">Plant told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> in July.<\/a> \u201cIt was a totally different way of enjoying myself without having any kind of professional ambition beyond just enjoying the evening.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Robert Plant - Everybody&#039;s Song (Official Music Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tfcRe8NyFjE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThey took a long break between 2022 and 2024 when Plant and Krauss reformed for a new album and world tour.
