Brandon Blackstock<\/a> died after a three-year battle with melanoma, but that wasn’t the only contributing factor.<\/p>\n His death certificate reveals that seizures were a significant contributor.<\/p>\n People<\/a><\/em> obtained the document. They report that the Silver Bow (Montana) County Coroner listed seizures as “significant conditions contributing to death, but not resulting in the underlying cause.”<\/p>\n Additionally, the certificate notes that\u00a0Blackstock was cremated, and no autopsy was performed.<\/p>\n Blackstock’s funeral\u00a0will\u00a0be a private affair. The\u00a0obituary at Axelson Funeral Home<\/a> in Butte, Mont.\u00a0shares that it’s planned for Aug. 17, and all friends and loved ones are invited to join, but they’ll need to get details word-of-mouth.<\/p>\n In lieu of flowers, mourners are encouraged to donate to the\u00a0Brandon Blackstock Memorial Fund<\/a>\u00a0at the Montana Stockgrowers Foundation.<\/p>\n The day before Blackstock’s death, Clarkson shared that she was canceling her professional schedule through the end of August to be with her children. At that time she’d not\u00a0revealed\u00a0the extent of his illness.<\/p>\n The 43-year-old singer has not commented publicly in the seven days since her ex-husband’s passing, but TMZ has learned that The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em> is still on track <\/a>for a September premiere.<\/p>\n This will be Season 7 of the show. Many insiders have speculated that she might not return after this season, as her contract is expiring, but nobody has said as much officially.<\/p>\n In addition to her daytime talk show,\u00a0Clarkson will return to The Voice<\/em> <\/a>for Season 29 in 2026.<\/p>\n The singer has dealt with serious medical conditions since 2006.
