\n\tIt\u2019s safe to say that Ava Max<\/a> fans are more than puzzled by the pop star\u2019s rollout for her album Don\u2019t Click Play<\/em><\/a>. Since a Fourth of July performance and a single release on July 1, Max has largely vanished from social media and has shared little to no promotional posts to build anticipation for the record.<\/p>\n \n\tDespite her seeming disappearance online, sources close to the project confirm to Rolling Stone<\/em> that Don\u2019t Click Play<\/em> is still coming soon. \u201cAva\u2019s third studio album is in fact still set to be released on August 22nd,\u201d one source says.<\/p>\n \n\tRolling Stone<\/em> also acquired the track list and credits for the 12-track project, which hadn\u2019t been previously revealed. The album features songs titled \u201cHow Can I Dance,\u201d \u201cTake My Call,\u201d \u201cSkin in the Game,\u201d and \u201cWorld\u2019s Smallest Violin.\u201d Most of the project was produced by Pink Slip and Inverness, and also features some songs produced by David Stewart, Johnny Goldstein, along with Ammo and Fede.<\/p>\n \n\tIn recent weeks, fans have been posting reaction videos and questioning the lack of promotion from Max. One fan questioned<\/a> on TikTok, \u201cDoes Ava Max know she is supposed to release an album next week?!\u201d Another pointed to the cancellation of her Don\u2019t Click Play tour,<\/a> which was set to kick off in L.A. next month.<\/p>\n \n\tMax\u2019s last post came on July 7, featuring a carousel of selfies, memes, and a photo of herself at rehearsal. \u201cAva, are you alive? Love u and impatient for DCP,\u201d commented one fan under the post recently. \u201cWhere are you queen? I miss you,\u201d wrote another.<\/p>\n \n\tSo far, <\/em>Max has released a trio of singles \u2014 February\u2019s \u201cLost Your Faith<\/a>,\u201d May\u2019s \u201cLovin Myself,\u201d and July\u2019s \u201cWet, Hot American Dream\u201d \u2014 all of which featured videos but seemed to lack much promotion from the star. When she dropped \u201cLovin Myself,\u201d she told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> that the \u201csong came from a moment where I finally realized I didn\u2019t need anyone else\u2019s validation to feel whole.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tShe added at the time: \u201cI\u2019ve been through a lot of phases in my career, highs, lows, public scrutiny, private growth, and through all of that, I started to understand that the most important relationship I\u2019ll ever have is the one I have with myself.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIronically, this is the first time that Max has not postponed an album release.
