The rapper says she\u2019s going pop on her first LP since 2023\u2019s Scarlet<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n \n\tThe French word \u201cvie\u201d means \u201clive,\u201d and Doja Cat<\/a>\u2019s doing it glamorously in a new teaser<\/a> for her next studio album of the same name. \u201cVie out 9\/26\u201d she wrote in the Instagram caption of a video where she repeats the phrase \u201cJe sais que tu es ma vie\u201d with wide eyes in gem-ladden couture (that translates to \u201cI know that you are my life\u201d in English). <\/p>\n \n\tThe clip shoots between scenes of Doja twirling in front of the Eiffel Tower and having a Parisian snack (tearing into a croissant) with another version of herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tLast week, Doja Cat<\/a> recently previewed<\/a> a forthcoming single, \u201cJealous Type\u201d on Instagram with a poster providing a phone number for a Vie hotline. Billboard <\/em><\/a>reports that callers \u201cwere greeted by Doja playing the role of romance therapist.\u201d She debuted the unreleased song in her set at San Francisco\u2019s Outside Lands festival on August 8, too, ushering in the 80s-themed era of her new album. \u201cJealous Type\u201d is set to drop Aug. 21 at 8 p.m. ET. <\/p>\n
