On the August 13 live stream, a song was played where Yachty rapped, \u201cPut my knee up on her neck, I went George Floyd,\u201d while he, Max, and the rest of the people in the room danced to the song.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn May 2020, Floyd was killed by Minnesota Police Officer Derek Chauvin, who was filmed with his knee on Floyd\u2019s neck as he called out, \u201cI can\u2019t breathe.\u201d His death, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/political-commentary\/breonna-taylor-shooting-kentucky-999185\/\">alongside Breonna Taylor\u2019s<\/a> murder at the hands of the Louisville Police Department, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/culture\/culture-news\/george-floyd-timeline-1007252\/\">sparked worldwide protests<\/a>. Jackson, a Port Arthur, Texas native and a friend of Floyd, was a major public advocate after his death. \u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn August 14, the <em>All The Smoke <\/em>co-host angrily took to social media in <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/andrew-white\/stephen-jackson-lil-yachty-george-floyd-lyric-dont-ever-say-his-name-bro\" target=\"_blank\">a since-deleted post,<\/a> calling Yachty a \u201csambo\u201d for the lyrics. \u201cYou think you saying George Floyd name, and trying to use his name in a bar, that\u2019s gonna make people like your wack-ass music, my nigga? That shit weak. Y\u2019all the only era that feel like demeaning the dead and saying that shit is cool, my nigga. It ain\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tJackson continued, \u201cDon\u2019t ever say his name, bro. None of ya\u2019ll knew G, nothing about him. But y\u2019all wanna say his name for clout. That\u2019s some weak-ass shit, Yachty. Let somebody die in your family, we gonna do a whole skit about it. And see how funny it is, bro. Jackson also sought for people to \u201cbring some integrity back into everything we say,\u201d adding, \u201cTo all the bloggers and shows that\u2019s callin\u2019 me about the Lil Yachy and George Floyd situation\u2026I won\u2019t be doin\u2019 no interviews about it,\u201d he said. \u201cI spoke to him, he\u2019s a smart young man, he\u2019s winning for a reason\u2026he made a mistake, he apologized, we moved on from it.\u201d In another video, he said, \u201cI took my post down about Lil Yachty cause I\u2019m emotional about George. I told him it don\u2019t make no sense to do a public apology.
