\n\tCharli XCX<\/a> concluded her headlining tour in support of her colossal record\u00a0Brat<\/a><\/em> on Friday at One Universe Festival in Gwacheon-si, South Korea. To mark the occasion, the singer left fans with a farewell message, officially ending her blockbuster run.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPlease don\u2019t let it be over,\u201d read a large screen as the singer walked across the stage. A photo capturing the moment was shared by Charli on social media.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrat<\/em>\u2018s lime-green\u00a0album cover<\/a>\u00a0and euphoric pop tracks dominated social feeds and the cultural landscape in 2024 following the record\u2019s release. From TikTok to Kamala Harris\u2019 presidential campaign<\/a> to the Grammys (where Charli won<\/a> three awards including Best Dance Pop Recording and Best Dance\/Electronic Album), her lasting impact on the industry was inescapable. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhen discussing her potential follow-up, Charli said she doesn\u2019t \u201creally feel the pressure to create another record like\u00a0Brat<\/em>\u201d during an interview<\/a> at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. \u201cWhen I was making [Brat<\/em>], even though I really believed in it and totally knew what I wanted to do with it, I had no idea how it would be received,\u201d she said. \u201cSo yeah, I don\u2019t really feel the pressure because I feel that you can never really do the same thing twice, and my next record will probably be a flop, which I\u2019m down for to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile it seems like her Brat<\/em> era has reached its hyperpop end (for now), Charli has several on-screen projects underway including her feature in the upcoming erotic thriller\u00a0I Want Your Sex<\/em><\/a>\u00a0alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman; the satire\u00a0Sacrifice<\/a><\/em>\u00a0with Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy; and the fantasy film\u00a0100 Nights of Hero<\/em>. Charli also played an outlandish version of herself for Benito Skinner\u2019s hit comedy series Overcompensating<\/a><\/em>, which released in May.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
