It also has a nice breakdown which is followed by a return to the ‘join the storm’ chant. It has catchy hooks too with lyrics like “I want to take you up there with me so we can live among the stars, so I can heal my scars.”

Alien Perspective is catchy from the offset, with quick-fire vocals and electronic beats. Storm talks about being young and people treating him as if he is, and hearing people say that he’ll never make it. It’s what I would assume the love child of Waterparks and Bring Me The Horizon would sound like.

Showing that there’s definitely something for everything on the album, Walking Dead combines heavy screams and bass-heavy sections with sick drum fills and electronic overlays, and melodic vocals. I love the line “they pushed me to the limit and now I’ll kill them one by one” which is worked extremely well into a brutal breakdown.

After the brutality of Walking Dead, were greeted with the next interlude – Asphyxiation –. It’s a minute of heavy breathing over some electronic beats, which aptly rolls into Suffocation.

It’s the first track with a guest artist – with Fixation joining. It’s catchy and electronic focused, before switching to a metalcore scream and rapid fills, ending back with the electronic beats.

The vocals in Running from My Heart are absolutely breathtaking. They’re so melodic and captivating.

Join the Storm is an insane album. It sounds like something that someone who has been in the music industry for years has written, not a teenager. The record shows that Storm is extremely talented across a range of genres and I hope that he keeps the variety up as it’s always refreshing never knowing what’s coming next.

The lyrics throughout the album are clever, highlighted in the pop-punk track Black Hole with the various references tying into space and pulling towards you.

There really is something for everyone, from sick breakdowns and riffs to edgy electronica and pop punk lyrical deliveries. I highly recommend everyone checks this album out.

Source link

Young sensation Storm releases debut album Join the Storm on August 22 and it’s an eclectic mix that shows off his vocal ability and…

[37

post-44020","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-at","article","has-excerpt","has-avatar","has-author","has-date","has-comment-count","has-category-meta","has-read-more","thumbnail-
["GET
