{"id":44159,"date":"2025-08-18T19:38:27","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T19:38:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/18\/nelly-once-went-on-a-date-with-sharon-stone\/"},"modified":"2025-08-18T19:38:27","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T19:38:27","slug":"nelly-once-went-on-a-date-with-sharon-stone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/18\/nelly-once-went-on-a-date-with-sharon-stone\/","title":{"rendered":"Nelly Once Went On A Date With Sharon Stone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/Nelly\">Nelly<\/a> once went on a date with Hollywood legend Sharon Stone.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on <em>Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen<\/em>, the 67-year-old was asked about a rumor that she once went on a date with the \u201cRide Wit Me\u201d rapper.<\/p>\n<p>The Basic Instinct star simply said: \u201cYes, I did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She then began laughing as Cohen asked: \u201cDid you have a second date?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stone replied: \u201cNo, I did not,\u201d and refused to divulge any other information about their date.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" title=\"instagram-embed\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bravowwhl\/embed\" width=\"320\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Nelly has yet to comment about going on a date with Stone.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Louis rap legend is now married to Ashanti though they recently <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/ashanti-mom-not-happy-nelly-performed-donald-trump-event\/\">had an awkward issue over his support of Donald Trump<\/a> with her mother also disagreeing with his decision to perform at the Republican\u2019s inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>In a clip from their new reality show Nelly &amp; Ashanti: We Belong Together, Ashanti and her mother are discussing that an offer was made to Nelly for the event.<\/p>\n<p>Ashanti attempts to defend Nelly\u2019s reasoning for appearing at the inauguration, saying: \u201cThis is more about the opportunity of performing at the White House as opposed to performing for a particular candidate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tina then says that \u201cThis is very emotional for me,\u201d as she reflected on the civil rights struggle and her own father\u2019s role in 1960s activism.<\/p>\n<p>Ashanti\u2019s mom then urged her to speak up and voice her feelings regarding the performance, saying: \u201cAs your mom and your manager, it\u2019s my job to make sure you can voice your opinion on what you feel and what you know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nelly then appeared in the scene and confirmed that he would be performing at the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/nelly-defends-donald-trump-inauguration-ball-performance\">Nelly previously defended his decision to perform at the event<\/a>, saying that he was not motivated by politics.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI\u2019m not doing this for money. I\u2019m doing this because it\u2019s an honor. I respect the office. It don\u2019t matter who is in office. The same way that our men and women, our brothers and sisters who protect this country, have to go to war and put their lives on the line for whoever is in office.
