On Monday, an attorney for the rapper confirmed to <em>Rolling Stone<\/em> that a Fulton County judge approved the return of Young Thug\u2019s belongings \u2014 including $145,000 and four vehicles \u2014 that were seized prior to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/young-thug-plea-ysl-rico-trial-1235148330\/\">his long-running YSL trial<\/a> in Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAttorney Brian Steel said that the cars the rapper will be returning are a Corvette, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, a Dodge Durango, and a Can-Am Spyder. Additionally, he\u2019ll get back 72 pieces of jewelry that were taken from his home on May 9, 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI think that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/court\/\" id=\"auto-tag_court\" data-tag=\"court\">court<\/a> has no option under the case law and under the statute but to grant this dismissal, so the dismissal is granted,\u201d Judge Paige Reese Whitaker said in court, per <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/young-thug-wins-court-order-returning-property-rico-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\">Billboard<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tProsecutors, who had blamed delays in Thug\u2019s court case on the rapper\u2019s lawyer in court filings, may decide to appeal the ruling, postponing the return of such belongings.
