Gavin Adcock<\/a> was back in court this week to face misdemeanor charges that he incurred this spring.<\/p>\n The singer shared a selfie outside of the Wilson County Criminal Justice Center on Monday (Aug. 18), along with an optimistic message.<\/p>\n “All I know is it always works out,” he\u00a0writes in the caption.<\/p>\n Read More<\/em>: Gavin Adcock Arrested in Tennessee<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Adcock’s charges stemmed from a mid-May incident in which he was arrested for reckless driving and violation of open container laws. His bond was set at $1,000, and he was released from jail hours later.<\/p>\n Later on that day, Adcock \u2014 sitting in a vehicle, and sporting a different shirt than the one he wore to court \u2014 gave an update that left some fans alarmed.<\/p>\n “Well, I just got out of court. Going away for some time,” he\u00a0says in the video. “At least I dropped this album last Friday so y’all can listen to it when I’m gone.”<\/p>\n He didn’t leave fans hanging for too long.<\/p>\n In the caption of his post, he adds, “Not really but I hope y’all love this album.”<\/p>\n Most of the commenters on Adcock’s post were in on the joke, but they admitted that his prank got them for a minute<\/p>\n “This is not funny at all … my heart dropped quick I have tickets,” one fan replied.<\/p>\n “Almost had me until I read the caption,” said another.<\/p>\n “Just had a mini heart attack!” a third added.<\/p>\n To make up for the trick, Adcock announced that he’s doing something special for fans in Franklin, Tenn. this week.<\/p>\n “Alright y’all, I ain’t going to jail, but I am going to Walmart,” he said in a video posted to Instagram, naming a Walmart location in Franklin, Tenn. where he plans to hang out and sign vinyl for fans on Tuesday night (Aug. 19).<\/p>\n According to documents viewed by\u00a0Country Now<\/a>, Adcock’s charges of reckless driving and open container law violation were dismissed, as was a traffic citation for driving with an invalid license.<\/p>\n The singer did plead guilty to a speeding ticket.<\/p>\n Adcock’s latest album is\u00a0Own Worst<\/em> Enemy<\/em>,\u00a0his third full-length studio release.
