Morgan Wallen<\/a> is not going to submit his album I\u2019m the Problem<\/em><\/a> for consideration at the 2026 Grammy Awards<\/a>. Hits Daily Double<\/a> and Billboard<\/em><\/a> were first to report the news, and Wallen\u2019s team confirmed to Pitchfork he is withholding the album and its singles from Grammys consideration.<\/p>\n Wallen is one of the most successful and populars artists operating in country and pop music. His debut album, If I Know Me<\/em>, peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, and his subsequent three records\u2014Dangerous: The Double Album<\/em><\/a>, One Thing at a Time<\/em><\/a>, and I\u2019m the Problem<\/em>\u2014have all gone to No. 1. Wallen also has four chart-topping singles: \u201cLast Night,\u201d \u201cLove Somebody,\u201d the Post Malone collaboration \u201cI Had Some Help,\u201d and \u201cWhat I Want,\u201d the latter of which is on I\u2019m the Problem<\/em>. He\u2019s been nominated only twice, however, at the Grammys, and they\u2019re both for his track with Malone.<\/p>\n Amid his commercial success, Wallen\u2019s career has been dotted with controversies. Back in 2020, he was uninvited from Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> after video surfaced of him violating then-necessary coronavirus<\/a> protocols. The following year, a different leaked video showed Wallen using a racist, anti-Black slur, and he was subsequently suspended<\/a> by his label, Big Loud Records. He was quietly reinstated<\/a> by the label some months after the suspension.<\/p>\n Along with the personal situations, Wallen has twice been arrested since entering the public eye. In 2020, he was arrested and charged<\/a> for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, but the case was ultimately dismissed<\/a>. He was arrested<\/a> again, in 2024, for allegedly throwing a chair from the roof of a downtown Nashville bar. The country musician eventually pleaded guilty<\/a> to misdemeanor reckless endangerment and was sentenced to two years of probation, to go along with spending seven days at a DUI education center.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
