He probably did some things that he did with his money that was, you know what I\u2019m saying\u2014but nah, he not supposed to be in the situation that he\u2019s in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rivera continued: \u201cHe has to know that Dame has helped him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9; width:100%; height:auto; display:block;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/vkn00cN4kes\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder has battled a number of severe financial issues.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/dame-dash-4-million-judgment-defamation-lawsuit-josh-webber\/\">he was ordered to pay $4 million to filmmaker Josh Webber<\/a>, who he was accused of defaming.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/03\/26\/damon-dash-must-pay-four-million-dollars-to-josh-webber-defamation-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a><\/em>, Dash was hit with the hefty judgment following a dispute between himself and the film producer.<\/p>\n<p>Webber initially filed the suit a year ago over claims that he had lost out on $4 million worth of work as a result of comments Dash made on the Earn Your Leisure podcast in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>During his appearance on the show, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder claimed that the movie producer had stolen from him regarding their previous dispute over the 2019 film Dear Frank.<\/p>\n<p>Acccording to the suit, Dash said: \u201cI had a judgment. And I knew this dickhead Chris Brown and Josh Webber and Muddy Waters \u2026 Chris Brown the lawyer. I went through four trials with the same lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I lost was defamation because these guys trigger me and steal my shit \u2026 you think there is freedom of speech, it\u2019s really not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The alleged comments were in reference to a previous lawsuit between the pair in which Dash was ordered to pay almost $1 million to Webber over copyright infringement and defamation allegations.<\/p>\n<p>Dash\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/dame-dash-roc-a-fella-new-york-state-tax-debt\">one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella, Inc.\u00a0was recently auctioned off<\/a>\u00a0to satisfy his massive debts, which also include unpaid taxes and child support.<\/p>\n<p>However, the record executive owed so many people that Webber didn\u2019t receive a dime.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/jay-z-called-out-for-not-supporting-dame-dash-amid-financial-woes\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAY-Z has been called out by Lance \u201cUn\u201d Rivera for not supporting Dame Dash amid his current financial issues.
