“Old Town Road” singer Lil Nas X<\/a> was spotted nearly naked walking through the streets of L.A. on Thursday morning (Aug. 21).<\/p>\n Wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots, he talked to passersby and put a traffic cone on his head before police showed up.<\/p>\n TMZ <\/a>cites law enforcement sources who say paramedics were brought in to take Lil Nas X to the hospital.<\/p>\n “Montero” singer Lil Nas X was taken to a Los Angeles hospital, but no firm details have been shared by him or his team on social media.<\/p>\n A few pedestrians speculated drugs may have played a role in what happened, but in reporting the news, TMZ and other outlets have not produced any evidence that this was the case.<\/p>\n The incident\u00a0occurred around 4AM. The rapper is said to have told some people he was on his way to a party.<\/p>\n This continues an unpredictable 2025 for Montero Lamar Hill. Earlier this week, he wiped his Instagram clean and began adding colorful teasers<\/a>. A clip from a new song called \u201cBlack Horse\u201d also appeared, as did one featuring Lil Jon that was titled \u201cKimbo.\u201d<\/p>\n This activity followed several months of silence since being hospitalized in April with partial facial paralysis.<\/p>\n While “Old Town Road” was Lil Nas X’s massive breakthrough, he’s scored several other hits. \u201cPanini,\u201d \u201cRodeo\u201d with Cardi B, \u201cMontero\u201d and \u201cIndustry Baby\u201d with Jack Harlow all charted high on Billboard<\/em> charts.<\/p>\n Country fans know him best for his debut, however: He recorded a popular collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a> and took the CMA for Music Event of the Year in 2019.<\/p>\n Lil Nas X has an album called Dreamboy<\/em> planned for 2025.<\/p>\n These country singers had so much more to give.
