Noah Cyrus<\/a> knows what it\u2019s like to have the world watching her family \u2014 and she\u2019s opening up about how she\u2019s learned to live with it.<\/p>\n The Grammy-nominated singer says she\u2019s stopped letting outside noise shape her story. Instead, she\u2019s focusing on the part of life that has always held the Cyrus family together: music.<\/p>\n \u201cI keep myself pretty removed from any interest or \u2018drama\u2019 with the family,\u201d Noah told People<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThe thing that’s united us with the whole world is music, and that’s the most vital for us.\u201d<\/p>\n The attention, she admits, can be draining. \u201cYeah, it emotionally is draining, but it doesn’t hurt us or touch us. It’s something that you really learn to keep separate and far away from yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n When Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a> and Tish Cyrus divorced in 2022, rumors of family rifts flooded social media.<\/p>\n But Noah says that today, things are in a much better place for her and her siblings \u2014 Brandi, Trace, Miley<\/a> and Braison.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone’s wonderful and they all love one another,\u201d she said. \u201cAt the end of the day, this is a family, and you know that’s all it is: just dealing with normal family business<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Her new album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me<\/em>, released in July, carries that theme of family throughout.<\/p>\n The record stretches back four generations, featuring \u201cApple Tree,\u201d built from a hymn written by her great-grandfather, and \u201cWith You,\u201d the very first song her dad, Billy Ray, ever wrote.<\/p>\n Like most families, Noah\u2019s relationship with her siblings<\/a> hasn\u2019t always been smooth \u2014 but those experiences helped shape her new music.<\/p>\n Her brother Braison co-wrote the track \u201cDon\u2019t Put It All on Me,\u201d which includes the lyric: \u201cThe words that were spoken \/ mean nothing to me<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think that really sums up a relationship with a sibling,\u201d Noah said. \u201cYou quarrel and you say things \u2014 but that’s your family, and they are always going to be there for you.\u201d<\/p>\n In May, Miley shut down rumors of tension with her mom<\/a>, writing on Instagram: \u201cMy mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us.
