In June, Brian Eno<\/a> and Beatie Wolfe<\/a> released a pair of collaborative albums, Lateral<\/em><\/a> and Luminal<\/em><\/a>, and they\u2019ve now announced a third. An 11-song project called Liminal<\/em><\/a> is out October 10 via Verve<\/a>. Below, listen to the first two singles, \u201cThe Last to Know\u201d and \u201cRinging Ocean.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201c\ufeffLiminal<\/em> stands at the point of convergence between Lateral<\/em> and Luminal<\/em>,\u201d Eno and Wolfe said in a statement. \u201cIf Lateral<\/em> is a kind of landscape painting, a sonic place, Luminal<\/em> is a dreamlike awakening, a feeling space. Liminal<\/em>, the newest addition, is a hybrid of the two, a strange new land with a human living and feeling its way through its mysterious spaces.\u201d<\/p>\n The artists continued, \u201cLiminal<\/em> is set in the borderlands between song and non-song (or \u2018nong\u2019 as we call it), where the listener is exploring an intimate and unfamiliar new sonic world, as yet unclaimed, and still ambiguous.\u201d<\/p>\n
