{"id":44591,"date":"2025-08-22T15:25:29","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T15:25:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/22\/offset-disses-cardi-b-for-never-cooking-for-him\/"},"modified":"2025-08-22T15:25:29","modified_gmt":"2025-08-22T15:25:29","slug":"offset-disses-cardi-b-for-never-cooking-for-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/22\/offset-disses-cardi-b-for-never-cooking-for-him\/","title":{"rendered":"Offset Disses Cardi B For Never Cooking For Him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/offset\">Offset<\/a> has called out <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/cardi-b\/\">Cardi B<\/a> for never cooking for him.<\/p>\n<p>On new song \u201cMove On\u201d from his album <em>KIARA<\/em>, Offset addresses his tumultuous relationship with the \u201cWAP\u201d rapper.<\/p>\n<p>He raps: \u201c\u201dYou never cooked n-ggas no food, you just want go out to Nobu.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Offset also spat: \u201cYou fucked around with the wrong dude, Hope your next n-gga be great,\u201d with Cardi since beginning a highly publicized relationship with NFL wide receiver, Stefon Diggs.<\/p>\n<p>The former Migos rapper also appeared to finally move on from his ex: \u201cFuck the time that we had, it\u2019s erased.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9; width:100%; height:auto; display:block;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/HgNXL9IVF78\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Offset had already teased that the song was going to be about Cardi but had suggested it was going to be a more positive piece than it actually seems.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the\u00a0<em>Associated Press<\/em>, the former Migos rapper openly discussed the meaning of \u201cMove On\u201d before it was released.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cIt\u2019s about moving on, like, peacefully. That\u2019s what the message is supposed to be. It\u2019s all love and peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just ended the album with that [song], just to end that chapter because it\u2019s time to move on, it\u2019s over and done with,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt was great while it lasted. That shouldn\u2019t be the topic for either one of us no more. It\u2019s a book that\u2019s closed.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/offset-says-a-joint-album-with-quavo-is-possible\/\">Offset also recently said he was open to doing a joint album with Quavo<\/a>\u00a0as the two are working on mending their relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The Atlanta rapper said: \u201cIt\u2019s possible. No conversations about that, though, but it\u2019s possible. First, we\u2019re just checking in with each other and see each other\u2019s worlds: \u2018You good?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Offset then took responsibility for causing some of the estrangement between himself and Quavo: \u201cI\u2019ve accepted the actions I\u2019ve done to cause certain situations to happen \u2014 I had to. But at first I didn\u2019t. I was trying to act tough and like I didn\u2019t give a fuck at first. But the actions that I did in the time I was acting that way, I realized I was wrong. I realized I was wrong and had to get out of the way.
