\n\tLouis Tomlinson<\/a>\u2018s self-curated Away From Home Festival is heading stateside. Launched in 2021, the event finds a new location to call home each year. This time around, New York is the lucky place. Tomlinson will headline the event scheduled for Oct. 4 and 5 at\u00a0Brewery on Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York.<\/p>\n

\n\tLauv<\/a> will also take the stage at the two-day event, which has also set appearances from Steve Aoki, Lauv, Plain White T\u2019s, Daya, Pale Waves, Circa Waves, Dirty Blonde, Florence Road, Isaac Anderson, and Michael Blackwell. Additionally, Abbie McCarthy serves as a guest DJ.<\/p>\n

\n\tGeneral sale for Away From Home 2025 begins Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. EST. Tickets will also be available through a pre-sale that launches on Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. EST. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Copperstown location follows a growing list of temporary homes for the festival. Its inaugural year was held in London. The weekend event then moved to Malaga, Spain, in 2022, Camaoire, Italy, in 2023, and M\u00e9rida, Mexico, in 2024. Those sets featured appearances from Blossoms, the Cribs, DMA\u2019s,
DYLAN, Hinds, HotWax, the Snuts, the Vaccines, and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tTomlinson briefly joined the festival circuit this summer with appearances at mBank Summer Festival in Poland, ZOA City in Zurich, Ejekt Festival in Athens, and Lollapalooze India in Mumbai. Last year, the former One Direction member wrapped the Faith in the Future <\/em>tour in support of his second full-length LP. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wanted to focus this album around those shows, and create as many exciting live moments as I could, because as a music fan, that\u2019s the times I remember,\u201d Tomlinson told Rolling Stone<\/a> <\/em>in 2022. \u201cI love listening to albums \u2014 of course I do. But the times that stay in your memory are the live moments.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith his own album, he said, \u201cI wanted it to be broad. I was so paranoid about coming across as credible on the first record. So there was an element of me being musically closed-minded. It was important for me, on this record, to be broader than that. I started out my solo career with a dance-pop hybrid thing with Steve Aoki. So for the first album, I didn\u2019t want to go anywhere near as kind of dance-y sounds. I suppose on this record, I\u2019m just in a more confident place, so I\u2019m willing to be braver and do things like that. Or at least what feels braver to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
