In fact, a major kickoff event in New York City was totally\u00a0eclipsed by headlines focused on diner outrage and plummeting stock prices.<\/p>\n
That’s Jordan Davis<\/a> pulling a fork from a pot pie as he touts that, “Cracker Barrel is all about more.” His song “Ain’t Enough Road<\/a>” plays in the background as he continues the pitch.<\/p>\n He was actually announced in the company’s Tuesday press release, and he offered a quote about how Cracker Barrel values line up with his own.<\/p>\n This video would be sent to his social media platforms with little expectation that it’d become a lightning rod for criticism.<\/p>\n Jordan Davis has been one of country music\u2019s most dependable hitmakers since his debut single \u201cSingles You Up\u201d dropped in 2017. He has five No. 1 songs on the Billboard<\/em> Country Airplay chart\u00a0\u2014 his best-known are probably \u201cBuy Dirt\u201d and \u201cNext Thing You Know.\u201d<\/p>\n The Louisiana native is married with four kids.\u00a0He and wife Kristen just welcomed daughter Sadie Davis on July 2, giving him four under age five.<\/p>\n Davis also has a brother named Jacob who is an accomplished songwriter.<\/p>\n For years, Cracker Barrel would distribute country albums under the Cracker Barrel Music label. Alan Jackson<\/a>, Craig Morgan<\/a> and the Oak Ridge Boys<\/a> are a few who participated, but the most famous was Dolly Parton<\/a>, who in 2016 released a version of her song \u201cJolene\u201d with a cappella group Pentatonix.<\/p>\n The would go on to win a Grammy in the Best Country Duo\/Group Performance category.<\/p>\n Stores have continued to carry and sell CDs from famous country singers.
