And I hadn\u2019t seen her in a few years. And the thing about my mother is, she\u2019s just a mentally ill person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cI\u2019ve definitely relinquished any anger or any of that that I had. But I hadn\u2019t seen her in a few years since I was probably 17, 18. And the last time I had seen her, she was like covered in blood and naked and screaming and the police were there. It was a whole thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9; width:100%; height:auto; display:block;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/HGi1kiIiL78\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Back in 2012, Logic used the song \u201cDear God\u201d to claim that his mother attempted to kill him when he was just nine-years-old.<\/p>\n<p>He rapped: <em>\u201cWhat about the time I was nine and my mama almost murdered me? \/ Don\u2019t think I forgot that shit, it still burdens me \/ Her bare hands tight around my throat \/\u2019I can\u2019t breathe\u2019 I screamed, \u2018I can\u2019t breathe, Mama \/ Don\u2019t you want me, Mama? Don\u2019t you love me, Mama? What the fuck?&#8217;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/logic-tearfully-confronts-father-childhood-trauma\/\">Logic also has a complicated relationship with his father<\/a> and last year he interviewed him on his own podcast.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing his father\u2019s past crack addiction, Logic said while sobbing: \u201cThere\u2019s a part of me that has grown and developed mentally, but there is still that little boy that\u2019s still waiting on the curb for his dad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cI waited every weekend and you never showed up. You always said that you would [\u2026] I look at my son and I think how much my son means to me. I\u2019m a man of my word today because you aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want you to know that it really hurt [and] I just want to ask: what is it like as a man who used a substance that would allow you to make that little boy wait forever?
