When you stream on Spotify or YouTube, know that his children and his wife are over it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hicks also revealed that now the rights situation is sorted, music from Proof\u2019s vault will start to be released: \u201cThey\u2019ve got it in control now. It was so many years that it was like, this person had it, that person had it. It was like playing Whac-A-Mole. You didn\u2019t know who had it. It\u2019s so many people that have albums hid. They were about to just die with that shit, because most motherfuckers be like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m just gonna wait for the right time to put it out.\u2019 Thank the heavens that his oldest son is overseeing everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9; width:100%; height:auto; display:block;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/1JzASiwp4Uk\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Hicks followed up with an Instagram post confirming that Proof will feature on the soundtrack to Eminem\u2019s documentary, Stans.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote: \u201cNot to be redundant but I have so many people call, text or email me in concern about the Big Proof music estate UPDATE: in this last year FINALLY Proof\u2019s wife (my sister Sharonda) &amp; his children have control of his estate so now enjoy his only official album \u2018Searching for Gerry Garcia\u2019 his compilations \u2018I Miss The Hip Hop Shop\u2019, \u2018Grown Man Shit\u2019 on streaming sites + YouTube across the world. Plus, Proof has 2 new songs on the Eminem \u2018Stans\u2019 documentary soundtrack that comes out on August 26th, 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Proof\u2019s son, Nasaan, followed in his father\u2019s footsteps in becoming a rapper and<a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/proof-son-nasaan-teases-eminem-collaboration\/\"> in the past hinted at collaborating with Eminem<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He said last year: \u201cWe got some shit, we got some stuff. He sent me some stuff. I don\u2019t want to speak on it too much \u2014 I be getting in trouble when I talk about they stuff.
