\n\tLove can make you do crazy things. For Taylor Swift<\/a>, it made her go on a sports podcast, New Heights<\/em>, hosted by her now-fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce<\/a>. For Donald Trump<\/a>, it made him forget that he hates Swift <\/a>and called her a \u201cwoke singer\u201d who is \u201cNO LONGER HOT\u201d just three weeks ago. Reacting to the news of Swift and Kelce\u2019s engagement,<\/a> the president told reporters<\/a> in a cabinet meeting that he wishes the couple \u201ca lot of luck.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tHis praise started with Kelce, noting, \u201cI think he\u2019s a great player, I think he\u2019s a great guy.\u201d Then, his amnesia settled in and all of the criticism he\u2019s thrown at Swift \u2014 including celebrating her being \u201cbooed out of the Super Bowl,\u201d the same one her boyfriend was playing in notably for the team that Trump was rooting for \u2014 suddenly left his mind. \u201cAnd I think that she\u2019s a terrific person,\u201d he said. \u201cSo I wish them a lot of luck.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tTrump\u2019s one-sided feud with Swift began in 2018, when she endorsed Democratic Senate candidate Phil Bredesen over Republican Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee. \u201cI\u2019m sure Taylor Swift knows nothing,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI like Taylor\u2019s music about 25 percent less now, OK?\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tKelce hasn\u2019t spoken much about Trump publicly. Ahead of the Super Bowl in February, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reacted to news that the president might attend the event, telling reporters<\/a>, \u201cThat\u2019s awesome. It\u2019s a great honor. I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I\u2019m excited because it\u2019s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there \u2014 it\u2019s the best country in the world \u2014 and that\u2019s pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n
