Let’s get one thing straight: the\u00a0start of September does not mark the end of summer.<\/p>\n
Astronomically speaking \u2014 aka the autumnal equinox \u2014 doesn’t occur until the latter half of September each year. If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, this is usually between the 21 and 24 of September. So you should feel free to drink your margaritas, go to the beach or do whatever other summertime activities suit your fancy.<\/p>\n
However, we’ll concede that for many people, Sept. 1 feels like the start of fall. In the below list, we’re striking something of a compromise \u2014 these 18 songs are perfect for the transitional period between the seasons.<\/p>\n
