{"id":45830,"date":"2025-09-05T15:26:55","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T15:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/05\/ice-spice-latto-squash-feud-on-gyatt\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T15:26:55","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T15:26:55","slug":"ice-spice-latto-squash-feud-on-gyatt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musicianvoice.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/05\/ice-spice-latto-squash-feud-on-gyatt\/","title":{"rendered":"Ice Spice &#038; Latto Squash Feud On &#8216;Gyatt&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"articleBody\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/ice-spice\">Ice Spice<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/latto\">Latto<\/a> have officially squashed their feud by collaborating on new single \u201cGyatt\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The two spent the beginning of last year throwing shots at each other but have now swapped real life shots for pretend ones as the song\u2019s music video sees them duke it out in a wrestling ring \u2013 a clear nod to their past rivalry.<\/p>\n<p>The duo spend much of the song rapping about how men love them.<\/p>\n<p>Spice spits: \u201cN-ggas be so damn thirsty, tryna jump head first into this fountain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9; width:100%; height:auto; display:block;\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/Op9NRT8xeKQ\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It is not clear what had led to the two female MC\u2019s patching things up and getting to the point where they could collaborate.<\/p>\n<p>Latto last took a shot at her contemporary a year ago with the release of her album Sugar Honey Iced Tea.<\/p>\n<p>On \u201cS\/O to Me\u201d, Latto rapped: \u201cBye sis, funny thing about it, you can\u2019t look me in my eye, sis,\u201d which is a play on Ice Spice\u2019s real first name, Isis.<\/p>\n<p>The second verse hears her spit: \u201c<em>Shoutout to myself\/ Who the hardest out? Bitch, it\u2019s Latto by herself\/ Ice is just water when it melts\/ Wipe you down, I got plenty towels on the shelf<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Back in February 2024, Ice Spice took aim at Latto on her song \u201cThink U the Shit (Fart)\u201d where she rapped: <em>\u201cI got my foot on they necks, I can\u2019t let up\/ She all on the floor, told her get up.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In turn,\u00a0<a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/latto-ice-spice-diss-sunday-service\">Latto struck back at Ice Spice on \u201cSunday Service\u201d when she rapped<\/a>:\u00a0<i>\u201cThink I\u2019m the shit, bitch, I know it, ho\/ Jesus walked on water, I got ice boilin\u2019 though.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Latto later appeared to downplay that she was involved in a rap battle with Ice Spice.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cIf I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like I\u2019ma go tit for tat with. I really don\u2019t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that? I feel like she\u2019s doing her in her lane. It\u2019s two different types of vibes.
