The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards<\/a> take place tonight (September 7) at Long Island\u2019s UBS Arena. LL Cool J<\/a> will host the show\u2014a gig he previously shared with Nicki Minaj<\/a> and Jack Harlow<\/a> in 2022. Set to take the stage, too, are Mariah Carey<\/a>, Lady Gaga<\/a>, Aerosmith<\/a>\u2019s Steven Tyler<\/a>, Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, and more. Check out the full list of performers for the 2025 MTV VMAs below.<\/p>\n The VMAs broadcast begins at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on the CBS Television Network. The show will also simulcast on MTV and stream on Paramount+ in the United States. He\u2019s among the nominees<\/a> for Best New Artist and chances are he\u2019ll perform the single \u201cOrdinary,\u201d which reached No. 1 on both the U.S. and UK charts this summer.<\/p>\n Country artist Bailey Zimmerman and the Kid Laroi<\/a> will hit the Extended Play Stage Presented by Doritos\u00ae to perform their collaborative single \u201cLost.\u201d<\/p>\n Busta Rhymes<\/a> is the first recipient of the brand-new MTV VMA Rock the Bells Visionary Award. Having made his first appearance at the show in 1997, tonight marks his seventh VMAs performance over the span of nearly three decades.<\/p>\n Pop singer Conan Gray will take the VMAs stage for the first time, to play \u201cVodka Cranberry\u201d from his new album, Wishbone<\/em>.<\/p>\n Doja Cat<\/a>\u2019s theatrical antics have made her a VMAs fixture. She performed<\/a> \u201cBeen Like This\u201d and \u201cYou Right\u201d in 2021, and, in 2023, delivered a medley<\/a> of the Scarlet<\/em><\/a> singles \u201cAttention<\/a>,\u201d \u201cPaint the Town Red,\u201d and \u201cDemons<\/a>.\u201d Tonight, she\u2019s set to give \u201cJealous Type,\u201d the lead single from her forthcoming album, Vie<\/em>, its live debut.<\/p>\n Thirteen-time nominee J Balvin<\/a> will be joined by Juistin Quiles and Lenny Tav\u00e1rez for the trio\u2019s new song \u201cZun Zun,\u201d and then he and DJ Snake<\/a> will play their single \u201cNoventa\u201d live for the first time. The reggaeton superstar has brought his collaborative spirit to past VMAs with assists from Bad Bunny<\/a>, in 2019, and Ryan Castro<\/a>, in 2022.<\/p>\n After virtually appearing with Eminem<\/a> at last year\u2019s VMAs, Jelly Roll will truly be there this year.<\/p>\n Aerosmith\u2019s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, British vocalist Yungblud, and Extreme\u2019s Nuno Bettencourt will come together to pay tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourn with a medley of the Black Sabbath artist\u2019s songs.<\/p>\n The American K-pop-style girl group Katseye are the VMAs pre-show performers.<\/p>\n Lady Gaga is the most-nominated artist at the 2025 VMAs. She most recently performed<\/a> at the VMAs in 2020.<\/p>\n Lola Young broke out last yer with the single \u201cMessy.\u201d Now, as the British singer readies the new album I\u2019m Only F**king Myself<\/em>, she\u2019ll perform that hit on the Extended Play Stage Presented by Doritos\u00ae.<\/p>\n Mariah Carey has not performed at the VMAs since 2005. She\u2019s returning to perform a career-spanning medley to celebrate her winning the Video Vanguard Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n Country star Megan Moroney will bring \u201c6 Months Later\u201d to the Extended Play Stage Presented by Doritos\u00ae.<\/p>\n Post Malone had a hell of a time at the 2018 VMAs, performing with both 21 Savage and Aerosmith.
