The album marks his first since 2023\u2019s I Miss You Arleady + I Haven\u2019t Left Yet<\/em>. The singer-songwriter set the stage for Chasing the Chimera <\/em>with the previously released singles \u201cHow to Live\u201d <\/a>and \u201cMarigolds,\u201d which arrived last week.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThis song is about regret & apology as an obsessional mantra,\u201d he said. \u201cI wrote this right after the LA fires \u2014 a night I had with someone I was very close with \u2014 hiding out together- we got stoned and made dinner & started talking about the absurdity of getting older & you could see the hills burning in the distance from doorway off the kitchen \u2014\u2014 the dissonance between the world inside and the chaos out there.
