Red Lobster<\/a> is ready for a comeback \u2014 and turning the page on one of its most famous (and costly) promotions.<\/p>\n After filing for bankruptcy last year<\/a>, the iconic seafood chain has retired its Endless Shrimp deal and is rolling out a new offer that leaders say is smarter and more sustainable.<\/p>\n Endless Shrimp \u2014 the $25 all-you-can-eat special \u2014 made headlines in 2024 after reports revealed the promotion was costing Red Lobster more than it was bringing in.<\/p>\n Read More:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Super Rare Orange Lobster Rescued From Red Lobster Restaurant<\/a><\/p>\n The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May of last year, assuring customers that locations would remain open.<\/p>\n Still, some restaurants were forced to close<\/a> in August 2024.<\/p>\n Now, Red Lobster is moving forward with a replacement deal called Ultimate<\/strong> SpendLESS Shrimp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cSince stepping into this role, I\u2019ve gotten questions about Endless Shrimp \u2013 \u2018Is it coming back? What really happened with the promotion? How much shrimp is too much shrimp?\u2019 And it\u2019s time we officially turn the tides,\u201d CEO Damola Adamolekun said in a press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cWe\u2019re starting a new chapter<\/a> here at Red Lobster, one that\u2019s smarter, more sustainable and still packed with the unbeatable value and delicious flavors our guests have come to expect.”<\/p>\n “Ultimate SpendLESS Shrimp is a celebration and I\u2019m looking forward to our diners enjoying great shrimp dishes this season for a great price,” Adamolekun added. “It may not be endless, but you\u2019ll definitely spend less.\u201d<\/p>\n Shrimp isn\u2019t the only thing getting an update.
