Whitney<\/a> have shared another song from the forthcoming new album Small Talk<\/em><\/a>. The new single, \u201cBack to the Wind<\/a>,\u201d is the third preview of the album, following \u201cDarling<\/a>\u201d and \u201cDandelions<\/a>.\u201d Watch the new track\u2019s Alex Pennacchia<\/a>\u2013directed music video below.<\/p>\n Along with the song, Whitney have announced a series of 2026 tour dates. The shows will take place in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom. See the band\u2019s schedule below.<\/p>\n In a press statement about \u201cBack to the Wind,\u201d Whitney\u2019s Julien Ehrlich said, \u201cI think what\u2019s stuck with me most about \u2018Back to the Wind\u2019 is the way the imagery ended up unfolding across the instrumental. In the past, we\u2019ve always insisted that each word on a lyric sheet so deliberately leads you back to the sentiment of the hook that it almost leaves no room for imagination. With \u2018BTTW,\u2019 it felt more compelling to steer the second half into a series of images that might mean something different to each person that hears it. And, since this was the first song we wrote for the record, I think it informed the way we pushed ourselves to explore and dig deeper lyrically overall. Also, [Max Kakacek\u2019s] guitar solo goes crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n Small Talk<\/em> is Whitney\u2019s fith studio album.
