\n\tNick Cannon<\/a> is feeling reflective as he looks back at his past relationships. In a new interview with The Breakfast Club<\/em>, Cannon spoke about his decision to be a father of 12<\/a>, and why his approach to fatherhood may have been born as a trauma response.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt wasn\u2019t like I was acting out. It was more of being careless, being frivolous with my process because I could do it, because I had the money [and] because I had the access to whoever and however I wanted to move,\u201d he said on the radio show. \u201cThen, obviously, life happens as well, so it wasn\u2019t like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m gonna go have 12 kids.\u2019 It was more like, \u2018Yo, I\u2019m gonna just live life and have fun and whatever happens happens. I can handle it.’\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNow that Cannon is nearing 45 years old, he said that he could see himself having a different thought process and should have taken more \u201ctime to actually do the inner work.\u201d However, he explained to co-host Charlamagne tha God that all his children were \u201cmade out of love\u201d and during strong relationships, and that he\u2019s \u201clearning now\u201d that having so many kids was a \u201cresponse to trauma.\u201d<\/p>\n
