Reba McEntire<\/a> shared a heartfelt update on how her late stepson Brandon Blackstock<\/a>\u2019s children are healing after his death.<\/p>\n On Sunday (Sept. 14), on the 2025 Emmy Awards red carpet, the country legend opened up about how Brandon\u2019s kids \u2014 including the two he shares with ex-wife Kelly Clarkson<\/a> \u2014 are doing in the wake of his passing.<\/p>\n \u201cWe miss him. We miss him every minute,\u201d McEntire, 70, told Entertainment Tonight<\/a>.<\/p>\n The “I’m a Survivor” singer continued, \u201cThe kids are doing well, they’re all bonding together and hanging out with each other, and taking it one day at a time. We know God’s got this.”<\/p>\n Blackstock died on Aug. 7 after a private, three-year battle with cancer. There is no one else like him, and I\u2019m thankful for the time we had together.”<\/p>\n She added, “His legacy and laughter will be carried on through his family. Rest in peace, cowboy.\u201d<\/p>\n McEntire also showed support for her son Shelby, who called Brandon \u201can irreplaceable part of our family<\/a> \u2014 funny, bright, and full of life.\u201d<\/p>\n She responded to Shelby\u2019s message with: \u201cVery well said, Shelby.
