\n\tJudas Priest<\/a> are working behind the scenes to get clearance permission to release an official cover of Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2018s \u201cWar Pigs\u201d featuring the late Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>. During a recent appearance on the\u00a0Full Metal Jackie<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>podcast, frontman Rob Halford\u00a0detailed the process of recording the duet with Osbourne prior to the metal legend\u2019s death in July. <\/a><\/p>\n \n\t\u201cOzzy\u2019s singing a line and then I\u2019m singing a line, and Ozzy\u2019s singing a line and I\u2019m singing a line,\u201d Halford said. \u201cIt\u2019s the first ever time in my entire life that I\u2019ve been able to do a duet with Ozzy and I\u2019m so eternally grateful and blessed that I was able to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHalford revealed that Sharon Osbourne was responsible for bringing them together. She took a liking to the \u201cWar Pigs\u201d cover Judas Priest have performed at other points in their career. \u201cShe approached me with this idea, she said, \u2018I love your version of War Pigs. Is there a way we can get Ozzy?\u2019\u201d Halford recalled. \u201cI was [like], \u2018You\u2019re asking me? This is gonna happen!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
