Shout out to Em. That\u2019s a GOAT. That\u2019s a Rap God right there. Salute. I\u2019ve never met him\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/eminem-drops-previously-unreleased-song-everybodys-looking-at-me\/\">Eminem recently dropped a previously unreleased track titled \u201cEverybody\u2019s Looking At Me\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Dr. Dre, the first verse of the track is from a 2002 Funkmaster Flex freestyle with Em later expanding it into a full song.<\/p>\n<p>An early version also featured a guest verse from Proof but that is absent from the version on the soundtrack.<\/p>\n<p>It can be assumed that \u201cEverybody\u2019s Looking At Me\u201d was originally recorded for\u00a0<em>The Eminem Show<\/em>\u00a0given a snippet of the song can be heard on \u201cThe Kiss (Skit)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On the track, Em makes reference to his iconic performance at the Grammys alongside Elton John when the two dueted on \u201cStan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He raps:\u00a0<em>\u201cOh God, he\u2019s on stage with Elton John! He\u2019s got a motherfucking pink GLAAD T-Shirt on, huggin\u2019 a homosexual flippin\u2019 the cameras off \/ But at the Grammys? Thought Slim hated the Grammys \/ No, I said, \u2018You think I give a damn about a Grammy?\u2019 \/ You never answered me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the premiere for <em>Stans<\/em> which documents both Eminem\u2019s career and the oft-obsessive nature of his fans, <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/eminem-pays-tribute-to-fans-at-stans-premiere\/\">Em paid tribute to those who have supported him over the years<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Making an unannounced showing at the premiere in New York, Em said: \u201cLet me tell you why this shit is crazy to me. Because, when I was writing the song \u2018Stan,\u2019 I think I was just understanding the impact that my music was having on some people. And it\u2019s so crazy to me to look at, over my career, just the fact that I was able to impact people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cI love you too. I\u2019m trying to think of what the fuck I\u2019m saying here\u2026 When I was writing this song I didn\u2019t understand the impact my music was having on people at the time and it was really surreal to me, and it\u2019s still surreal to this day to look out here and see all you and the fact that my music has inspired you.
