Playboi Carti<\/a> has again been accused of acting violently by his ex-girlfriend, Iggy Azalea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Akademiks previously tried to portray Azalea as a \u201cjealous ex\u201d which led the female MC to hit back on social media.<\/p>\n

She wrote: \u201cYes @Akademiks I DMd you! 24hrs later, you had zero response\u2026 Because you don\u2019t want to report factual information or stand corrected in a public forum. That\u2019s the truth.<\/p>\n

\u201cI listened to your monologue trying to paint me as some obsessed jealous ex because you watch rage bait clips on social media instead of doing your job as a \u2018reporter\u2019 (watching interviews in full context before commenting).\u201d<\/p>\n

Iggy Azalea speaks on Playboi Carti in a new response to Akademiks:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care at all who listens to the music, or if he\u2019s the most successful best selling rapper ever. It has zero effect on my life. Truly. I\u2019m not campaigning for anyone\u2019s demise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iggy then addressed her past relationship with Carti: \u201cAt the same time \u2013 I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a huge secret my experience involved a man who was violent & is (still) an addict \u2013 Im sorry, but that\u2019s my reality & it does affect my life years later of course\u2026 because there\u2019s a child involved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti began dating in 2018<\/a>\u00a0and broke up roughly two years later. The pair welcomed Onyx in April 2020.<\/p>\n

Speaking of their \u201cvolatile\u201d relationship on Emily Ratajkowski\u2019s\u00a0EmRata<\/em>\u00a0podcast last year, Iggy revealed that she decided to walk away from the\u00a0Whole Lotta Red<\/em>\u00a0rapper not long after giving birth.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, right after I had my son, I left his father,\u201d she said. \u201cSomething happened one day with my son\u2019s father and me, and it was just one of those moments where you\u2019re just like, \u2018I didn\u2019t wake up thinking this is what my day would be.\u2019 But by the end of the day, I was on a plane to Los Angeles and I never went back.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cI didn\u2019t think I was going to be leaving when I left. My father and my mother had such a volatile relationship that I wish I had seen less of it. And so that was what happened to me in that moment that I had on that day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, I will never let my son see this because I don\u2019t want him to see someone talk to me this way too, but because I don\u2019t want him to ever learn this, I don\u2019t want him to be exposed to this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
