\n\tBaby number four is on the way for Cardi B<\/a>. The rapper is expecting her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, the wide receiver for the New England Patriots. She was all mama and no drama as she announced her pregnancy on CBS Mornings <\/a><\/em>on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/a><\/em> \u201cI feel like I\u2019m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I\u2019m doing all this work,\u201d Cardi told Gayle King. \u201cBut I\u2019m doing all this work while I\u2019m creating a baby, me and my man, we\u2019re very supportive of each other.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tOn Friday, Cardi will release her long-awaited second studio album, Am I the Drama? <\/a><\/em>which follows her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy<\/em>. Speaking of, her official announcement comes after weeks of speculation about her pregnancy. Rumors kicked up after Cardi made a series of appearances in court while battling a civil trial <\/a>over claims she assaulted a security guard during an argument seven years ago. Cardi emerged victorious, but her body quickly became the leading topic of conversation.<\/p>\n \n\tCardi noted that, at the time of the interview, she hadn\u2019t even broken the news of her pregnancy to her parents yet because she\u2019s \u201cscared of them.\u201d And keeping it from the public was at least partially because she was working to \u201cclose some deals first.\u201d Still, she feels \u201cexcited\u201d and \u201chappy\u201d to be entering this new chapter with Diggs, who she said won her over by telling her, \u201cGive me a chance for me to heal you.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tCardi previously welcomed three children with Offset. The couple married in 2017, and she filed for divorce <\/a>from the rapper in 2024. \u201cHe just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,\u201d Cardi said about Diggs, who has one daughter from a previous relationship. The pair initially became linked through dating rumors in October 2024.<\/p>\n
