Cooper&#8217;s set also featured the live debut of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/alice-cooper-hey-stoopid\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Hey Stoopid<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;Dangerous Tonight&#8221; and\u00a0a partial first-time performance of &#8220;Going Home,&#8221; off 1976&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/alice-cooper-goes-to-hell\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Alice Cooper Goes to Hell<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Judas Priest\u00a0Goes Heavy on &#8216;Painkiller&#8217; at Tour Opener<\/h3>\n<p>Judas Priest&#8217;s set list featured fewer surprises by comparison, but they made up for it with blunt-force impact. The Metal Gods&#8217; 14-song set focused heavily on 1990&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/judas-priest-painkiller\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Painkiller<\/em><\/a>, from which they played six songs, including &#8220;Between the Hammer &amp; the Anvil,&#8221; &#8220;A Touch of Evil&#8221; and the monstrous title track.<\/p>\n<p>The band played two cuts off 2024&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/judas-priest-invincible-shield-album-review\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Invincible Shield<\/em><\/a> \u2014 &#8220;Gates of Hell&#8221; and &#8220;Giants in the Sky&#8221; \u2014 as well as time-honored classics &#8220;Breaking the Law, &#8220;Living After Midnight,&#8221; &#8220;Hell Bent for Leather&#8221; and &#8220;You&#8217;ve Got Another Thing Coming.&#8221; They also played\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/judas-priest-point-of-entry\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Point of Entry<\/em><\/a> nugget &#8220;Solar Angels,&#8221; which they\u00a0brought out of retirement this year after two decades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/best-judas-priest-songs\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Best Song From Every Judas Priest Album<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>When\u00a0Did Alice Cooper and Judas Priest Last Release New Music?<\/h3>\n<p>Both co-headliners\u00a0have\u00a0kept busy lately with rigorous touring schedules and new music releases. The original Alice Cooper Group released\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/alice-cooper-reunion-album\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Revenge of Alice Cooper<\/em><\/a> in July, marking their first album since 1973&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Muscle of Love<\/em>. Cooper&#8217;s most recent solo album,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/alice-cooper-road-album-review\/\" target=\"_blank\">Road<\/a><\/em>, came out in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Judas Priest\u00a0recently paid tribute to <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/ozzy-osbourne\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> with a <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/judas-priest-war-pigs\/\" target=\"_blank\">cover<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/black-sabbath\" target=\"_blank\">Black Sabbath<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;War Pigs,&#8221; which they&#8217;ve been using as their\u00a0pre-show opening music for years. Frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/tags\/rob-halford\">Rob Halford<\/a> recently revealed\u00a0their plans to release another &#8220;colossal&#8221; version of the song featuring Osbourne&#8217;s vocals as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You get Ozzy singing a line and then I&#8217;m singing a line, and Ozzy&#8217;s singing a line and I&#8217;m singing a line.
