In the official trailer for the upcoming documentary <em>Ozzy: No Escape From Now<\/em>, the Prince of Darkness battles health struggles that initially interfered with his ability to say a proper goodbye to his fans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOut Oct. 7, the Paramount+ film follows Osbourne and his family through medical mishaps, including one instance in which he broke his neck. The surgery he endured after, his son Jack Osbourne said in the clip, left him in even worse condition than before. The metal legend died earlier this summer at the age of 76. The news arrived on July 22, just over two weeks after Osbourne fulfilled his desire to say farewell with his final live appearance during Black Sabbath\u2018s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-live-reviews\/ozzy-osbourne-black-sabbath-back-to-the-beginning-concert-1235379405\/\">Back to the Beginning<\/a> all-star tribute concert. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not good at being sick,\u201d Osbourne said in the trailer. \u201cI belong up there, you know.\u201d The idea for the show is first presented by Sharon Osbourne, but he makes it clear, \u201cIf I\u2019m going to go up there, I want to be up there the old Ozzy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn February, Sharon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ozzy-osbourne-no-escape-from-now-documentary-1235279581\/\">shared a statement<\/a> about the documentary, which began filming in 2022 and was directed by Tania Alexander. \u201cThis film is an honest account of what has happened to Ozzy during the last few years,\u201d she said. \u201cIt shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson\u2019s. It\u2019s about the reality of his life now. We have worked with a production team we trust and have allowed them the freedom to tell the story openly.
