Clairo<\/a> has found a new label home. After independently releasing her latest album, Charm<\/em><\/a>, the singer-songwriter has announced her signing to Warner Music Group (WMG)<\/a> subsidiary Atlantic Records<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m so thrilled to begin this next chapter of my musical journey with Atlantic,\u201d Clairo said in a press statement. \u201cFrom our first meeting, they immediately understood my vision, and it feels good to know I can continue to be as expressive and free with my ideas with a great new partner by my side.\u201d<\/p>\n Elliot Grainge, the chairman and chief executive of Atlantic Music Group, added, \u201cClairo represents the rare kind of artist who reshapes the music landscape simply by being true to herself. She\u2019s not just one of the most important songwriters of her era, she\u2019s an artist whose work and aesthetic is truly unique. As a leading voice in music today, we are honored that she has chosen the Atlantic family to be part of her next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n Clairo began her career with Fader Label<\/a>, which is under the Universal Music Group (UMG)<\/a> umbrella. Through the label, she shared Diary 001<\/em><\/a>, Immunity<\/em><\/a>, and Sling<\/em><\/a>, the latter of which was a co-release with another UMG label, Republic Records<\/a>. In 2021, before releasing Sling<\/em>, Clairo also signed<\/a> an exclusive, worldwide publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG)<\/a>.<\/p>\n
