Pavement<\/a> have just released Hecklers Choice: Big Gums and Heavy Lifters<\/em><\/a>, their new best-of compilation; physical editions will follow on November 14 via Matador<\/a>. What\u2019s more, the band has also announced that vinyl and CD versions<\/a> of the soundtrack<\/a> to their oddball movie Pavements<\/em><\/a>\u2014a blend of documentary, biopic, and mockumentary, all directed by Alex Ross Perry\u2014will arrive on November 14, too. Stream their new compilation album, and check out a live video of \u201cGrounded,\u201d filmed at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, below.<\/p>\n Hecklers Choice<\/em> is the second best-of compilation of Pavement\u2019s career, arriving 15 years after their 2010 collection Quarantine the Past<\/em><\/a>. The updated tracklist includes songs that have since become modern classics of the band\u2019s career, including the Spotify algorithm favorite\u2013turned\u2013TikTok hit \u201cHarness Your Hopes.\u201d Pre-orders for vinyl and CD versions of Hecklers Choice<\/em> are currently ongoing.<\/p>\n Pavements (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)<\/em> is also currently available to order. Compiled by the band and Robert Greene, the movie\u2019s producer and editor, Pavements<\/em>\u2019 official soundtrack combines live and rehearsal recordings from the band\u2019s 2021 reunion tour, dialogue snippets from the movie, scenes from the fake Oscar-bait biopic Range Life<\/em><\/a>, and cast recordings from the Slanted!
