The hour-long feature was initially scheduled to premiere in August. but was delayed<\/a> at the request of the Osbourne family <\/a>following the musician\u2019s death<\/a> in July.<\/p>\n \n\tComing Home <\/em>will span the final three years of Osbourne\u2019s life, a time period that included his move from Los Angeles back to the UK, health struggles, and Black Sabbath\u2019s Back to the Beginning farewell concert. The documentary directed by Paula Wittig will premiere on BBC One and iPlayer on Oct. 2. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe resulting film is a moving portrait of one of the world\u2019s most entertaining families at a pivotal moment in their history,\u201d a synopsis<\/a> of the release reads. \u201cThe strength of Ozzy and Sharon\u2019s love for one another and their kids\u2019 devotion to them is palpable. The following day, the network shared, \u201cOur sympathies are with the Osbourne family at this difficult time.
