(The writing on her tank top says \u201cFollow me, I\u2019m a cult leader.\u201d) She compares the first moments of the show to a TV show she grew up watching in the U.K. called <em>Stars in Their Eyes. \u201c<\/em>The format was brilliant: a guest would come on, say who they were going to impersonate, then disappear through a sliding door. Two seconds later, they\u2019d re-emerge in a cloud of smoke and lights, completely transformed; costume, makeup, everything, and then perform a song of their choice from their idol.
