Jay Electronica<\/a>, who for years frustrated fans with his lack of output, is suddenly dropping music left and right.<\/p>\n Soon after releasing his long-lost album Act II: Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn)<\/em> and A Written Testimony: Leaflets<\/em><\/a> late last week, the Roc Nation rapper continued the flood over the weekend with two further projects.<\/p>\n A Written Testimony: Power at the Rate of My Dreams<\/em> features five new songs \u2014 including a collaboration with Westside Gunn<\/a> and Hit-Boy<\/a> that is sure to pique the attention of even the most indifferent Jay Elec fan.<\/p>\n Mars, The Inhabited Planet<\/em> \u2014 which is also falls under Jay\u2019s A Written Testimony<\/em> series \u2014 clocks in at a slightly more generous eight tracks, with a sole guest appearance coming from singer PYT Joyce.<\/p>\n Much like his aforementioned projects, these latest efforts are littered with audio samples and dialogue that reflect Jay Electronica\u2019s religious, politic and conspiracy theorist beliefs. Some might say they take up too<\/em> much of the airtime.<\/p>\n Some of the song titles are pretty explosive, too, like \u201cCNN & BBC Are Liars,\u201d while it\u2019s hard to tell if \u201c@RealCandaceO\u2026 Tell Us More!\u201d is in support of or opposition to the controversial right-wing pundit Candace Owens (who will be familiar to Kanye West<\/a> fans).<\/p>\n Either way, Jay Electronica dropping four projects in one week is one of the biggests surprises of the year \u2014 and having rapped about giving his label boss JAY-Z<\/a> \u201c19 albums in one day,\u201d who knows how many more he might have up his sleeve.<\/p>\n Stream A Written Testimony: Power at the Rate of My Dreams<\/em> and A Written Testimony: Mars, The Inhabited Planet<\/em> below.<\/p>\n
