\n\tAs Elle<\/a><\/em>\u2019s latest cover star, A$AP Rocky<\/a> told venerable hip-hop journalist Clover Hope about the reality of some perceived sore<\/a> spots<\/a> in his life. The thesis? He\u2019s doing just fine, all things considered.<\/p>\n \n\tOn the everlasting battle<\/a> between Kendrick Lamar<\/a> and Drake<\/a> in which he threw and caught a few lyrical punches in (he slighted Drake on Future and Metro Boomin\u2019s 2024 single \u201cShow of Hands\u201d after Drake had seemingly dissed him and his partner Rihanna in a series of songs like 2023\u2019s \u201cFear of Heights<\/a>\u201d), Rocky said he found himself entertained, but not committed. \u201cIt was healthy for hip-hop,\u201d he said. \u201cThe battle was between Kendrick and Drake, not Drake and everybody else who might have said something at that time, and that\u2019s mainly why I fell back. I just hate the way it\u2019s turning out with [Drake] suing<\/a> and all that. What part of the game is that? What type of shit is that? That\u2019s none of my business, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMore his business is that of A$AP Mob, the Harlem rap crew in which he ascended to fame. Former member Terell \u201cA$AP Relli\u201d Ephron accused Rocky<\/a> of shooting at him in November 2021. In February, Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, was found not guilty<\/a>. Despite that rift, Rocky confirmed during his interview with Elle<\/em> that the group is still intact, though there\u2019s a lot of healing left to do. \u201cI ain\u2019t bullshitting. This ain\u2019t no politically correct answer,\u201d Rocky said. \u201cAnybody who used to be my prot\u00e9g\u00e9s, my friends, my musical band partners, and they don\u2019t fuck with me, that\u2019s \u2019cause they don\u2019t fuck with me. I don\u2019t have animosity toward anybody. I don\u2019t have a reason to. I\u2019m too happy.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
