For years now,\u00a0Jason Aldean<\/a> fans have been asking the singer when he’s going to release a duet with his wife Brittany<\/a>.<\/p>\n They’ve never recorded together, but they’ve also never said it’s\u00a0completely<\/em> off the table.<\/p>\n Now, fans are finally getting a taste of what a husband-and-wife duet from the Aldeans might sound like \u2014\u00a0and they’re loving the collaboration, even though the circumstances that led the couple to sing together are tragic.<\/p>\n On Tuesday (Sept. 23), Aldean and Brittany shared a video of themselves singing together in memory of the late conservative commentator Charlie Kirk<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Aldeans chose Luke Bryan<\/a>‘s song “Drink a Beer” for their tribute to Kirk.<\/p>\n Aldean sang the first verse, and his wife came in and joined him on the chorus. Charlie would love it.”<\/p>\n “Brittany has the voice of an angel,” said a third.<\/p>\n \u201cDrink a Beer\u201d was an especially powerful choice, as it remains one of modern country music\u2019s most moving odes to the loss of a loved one.<\/p>\n A pre-fame Chris Stapleton<\/a> co-wrote this song with Jim Beavers, and it resonated deeply with Bryan, who unexpectedly lost two siblings at a young age.
