Duck Dynasty<\/a><\/em> patriarch Willie Robertson<\/a> may be stepping into retirement, but this next chapter of life doesn\u2019t look like it will slow him down.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s doing random things like burning piles of wood, killing snakes, fishing \u2014 I think he\u2019s just having fun,\u201d Willie’s daughter\u00a0Rebecca shares.<\/p>\n During season one of Duck Dynasty: The Revival<\/a><\/em>, fans watched Willie search for the next \u201cboss\u201d of the Duck Commander franchise, proving that his family remained a well-oiled machine even without him at the helm.\u00a0Now, in a new interview with Taste of Country, Rebecca opens up about what her dad\u2019s life looks like these days \u2014 from hobbies to grandkids and everything in between.<\/p>\n In an interview with Taste of Country, Korie and Willie\u2019s oldest, Rebecca, shared that her dad has been especially hands-on with her children in his free time.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s having so much fun even with the grandkids,\u201d Rebecca says. \u201cHe\u2019s been so involved, and it\u2019s been awesome to see that. Not that he wasn\u2019t before, but life was crazy, and with all of us filming together, everyone is so grounded that we just have to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n Her children spend so much time with their grandparents, they don\u2019t even realize how rare that experience is.<\/p>\n Rebecca recalls a moment that showed just how natural her father\u2019s new role has become. When Willie asked her daughter Holland if she was excited to stay with \u201cGrandpa Willie,\u201d the little one was unfazed.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019ve already watched us before,\u201d Rebecca retells with a laugh. \u201cIt\u2019s just really fun to see that phase of his life.\u201d<\/p>\n Willie has always juggled plenty of hobbies, and according to Rebecca\u2019s husband, John Reed, retirement has only expanded that list.<\/p>\n \u201cBefore he retired, this man had like one thousand hobbies,\u201d John Reed says with a smile. \u201cHe\u2019s going back to some and making them better.
