A$AP Rocky<\/a> is not a fan of Drake<\/a> taking his beef with Kendrick Lamar<\/a> to the courtroom.<\/p>\n In a new interview with ELLE<\/em> magazine<\/a>, the Harlem rapper hit out at his former \u201cFuckin\u2019 Problems\u201d collaborator for suing Universal Music Group<\/a> over Kendrick\u2019s hit diss song \u201cNot Like Us.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe battle was between Kendrick and Drake, not Drake and everybody else who might have said something at that time, and that\u2019s mainly why I fell back,\u201d said Rocky, who himself became entangled in the battle when he threw shots at Drake on Future<\/a> and Metro Boomin<\/a>\u2018s \u201cShow of Hands,\u201d before he caught some return fire on Drizzy\u2019s \u201cFamily Matters.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI just hate the way it\u2019s turning out with [Drake] suing and all that. What part of the game is that? What type of shit is that? That\u2019s none of my business, I guess,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Drake filed his bombshell lawsuit back in January, accusing UMG \u2014 the parent company of both his and Kendrick\u2019s longtime labels, Republic and Interscope \u2014 of defamation and harassment.<\/p>\n While the legal dispute has yet to go to trial, Drake has faced plenty of backlash from within the hip-hop community, with the likes of Pusha T<\/a>, Joe Budden<\/a> and even Kendrick himself<\/a> proverbially shaking their heads.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky also discussed the lengthy delay behind his upcoming album Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/a><\/em> in his ELLE<\/em> cover story, chalking it down to his hectic personal life.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to primarily blame it on my case, but life was lifeing,\u201d he said, referring to the felony assault case<\/a> brought forward by A$AP Relli that he beat at trial earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
